Booking & Cancellation Policy

Reservations

A 50% deposit of the chef service fee is required to confirm all bookings.

Dates are not secured until the deposit has been received.

The remaining 50% balance is due no later than 7 days before the scheduled service.

Reservations made within 7 days of the service date require full payment at the time of booking.

Grocery costs are invoiced separately unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Cancellations & Refunds

More Than 30 Days Before Service

50% of the deposit will be refunded.

Example:

If a reservation requires a $250 deposit, $125 will be refunded and $125 will be retained.

14–30 Days Before Service

Deposits become non-refundable.

However, Pulpo & Co. may accommodate a rescheduling request based on availability.

Less Than 14 Days Before Service

Deposits remain non-refundable.

Rescheduling requests cannot be guaranteed.

Less Than 72 Hours Before Service

The full chef service fee becomes payable.

Same-Day Cancellations

The full chef service fee is payable.

Any groceries, specialty ingredients, or products purchased specifically for the event will also be charged.

Why We Retain a Portion of the Deposit

The reservation deposit secures your date and allows us to dedicate planning, scheduling, staffing, and availability exclusively to your experience.

For this reason, a portion of the deposit is retained in the event of cancellation.

Weather & Force Majeure

In the event of severe weather, hurricanes, government restrictions, travel disruptions, or circumstances beyond either party’s reasonable control, Pulpo & Co. will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the service whenever possible.

Dietary Restrictions & Allergies

Clients are responsible for informing Pulpo & Co. of any food allergies, dietary restrictions, or medical conditions prior to the service.

While every reasonable precaution will be taken, Pulpo & Co. cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

Exceptional Circumstances

Pulpo & Co. understands that unforeseen situations can arise.

In cases of genuine emergencies, additional flexibility may be offered at the sole discretion of Pulpo & Co
